Jesus gave His disciples signs to look for to know when the Temple would be destroyed. These all came true leading up to the Fall of Jerusalem by Rome in 70 AD, but they are still relevant today! Prophetic teaching often has an immediate fulfillment that points to an even greater fulfillment in the future. Most of these signs can easily be pointing to events leading up to Jesus 2nd coming. As the frequency and intensity of the signs increase, we can be encouraged to know that Jesus will soon come to rescue His sons and daughters, ushering us into a glorious eternal life.
