Leave the notice, with your contact info, without physically touching doorbells or doorknobs. This is not intended to be a conversation but simply an offer of assistance. This may also be done by making a small table at the end of your own home’s walkway for people to take one for themselves.
If people contact you with needs, please attempt to meet those needs yourself. (example: adding some items to your shopping list for your next trip)
