At Motherhood Together, we rally alongside moms of young children with love, encouragement, and support. Join us to share stories, food, interests, and teachings as we tackle this thing called motherhood… together. Begins September 9th from 9:00 to 10:30am and continues every 2nd Monday of the month. Childcare is provided and there is no cost.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. If you are grieving the death of a loved one or know someone who is, please join us. The GriefShare group will be held on Tuesdays from 7:00-8:30 PM beginning September 17 upstairs in the church. Women’s Fall Bible Study
In this Bible study, we’ll learn how to face both storms and deserts with courage and trust in Jesus, and discover how tests in our journeys of faith reveal the true condition of our hearts. The study runs from Sept. 23 to Dec 4 Click here to find out more and register.
Men’s Bible Study
What should a man be and do? What should define him? What should be the goal of his life? How should he spend his time, his money, his energy? How should he relate to women? To his kids? To other men? This set of studies provides stirring answers to these questions in Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. We have two mornings to choose from, Wednesdays from 6-7am or Saturdays from 7-8am. John Dickson Lecture – A Doubter’s Guide to Jesus
This is an opportunity to reach your friends, family, or relatives who have doubts and questions about Jesus. Invite them to hear John Dickson’s compelling historical introduction to the man from Nazareth followed by Q&A with Pastor Peter. Trust-Based Relational Intervention Seminar
Join the Adoption Connection Ministry every Sunday night for 6 weeks from Oct 6 – Nov 10, 2019 from 4:00 – 6:00pm for Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). This course was developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis from TCU for working with “children from hard places.” This course is beneficial for all parents and grandparents. Cost is $50 for two people from the same family for all 6 sessions or $10 per session. Childcare is provided for children up to 11 years old. Find out more and register by clicking here.
Christianity Explored is a seven week course that gives you time and space to consider the big questions of life and to explore the life of the person at the heart of the Christian faith – Jesus Christ. Home Bible Study Groups
If you’re a Christian and have some experience with small groups meeting in a home, you are welcome to join an established Countryside home group or become a member of a newly forming group. Newly forming groups will begin with a new 9-week series called The Gospel-Centered Community. Home groups meet at various times during the week. This Fall we are offering a 12-week class on our Core Beliefs taught by Pastor Peter Kozushko, Pastor Troy Duppenthaler, and Callan Crossland. This class is ideal for mature Christians who are new to Countryside or members who want to delve deeper into the doctrines we believe are clearly taught in the Bible and are crucial to practical Christian living. We will explain and discuss one Core Belief Statement each session. The class will run Sunday mornings from 8-9 AM in the youth room starting Oct. 6th. Click here to register.
2019 Women’s Fall Retreat
What are you toiling for? Together at retreat, we will study the kind of toiling that not only produces fruit…but fruit that lasts! We know that the harvest before us is plentiful, but the laborers are so few! So this year we are going to come together and ask the Lord of the harvest to ready our hands and send us out as laborers for His Kingdom and His glory!
