Dennis and Linda Phelan served Countryside Community Church and the surrounding community for many years with a desire to glorify God and help others. Their loving service inspired this $1,000 one-time scholarship for a high school senior who has a heart for service. The scholarship will be paid directly to the school.
1. Eligibility
- Be in 12th grade and a regular attender at Countryside Community Church.
- Have engaged in service at Countryside Community Church, serving a Countryside member, or served with an organization affiliated with the church within at least the last 12 months prior to date of application.
- Student plans to attend college or trade school.
- Graduating high school or equivalent in 2023.
- Submit the completed application below.
2. Selection Process
Awardee will be selected based on record of service and evaluation of application.
3. Timeline
April 30, 2023: Student Application Deadline
June 2023: Award Announced.
TBD: Award Presented at Senior Send Off
4. Payment
The $1,000 will be paid directly to the college or trade school.
