RWANDA TRIP 2023
As a church, our partnership with Africa New Life Ministries goes back nearly a decade. Over the years, we've sponsored 360 children through Africa New Life and sent about 120 people from our church to see Rwanda firsthand. As we continue this amazing partnership, we are excited to announce another Team Trip to Rwanda, July 21-31, 2023!
For those of you who don’t know, Africa New Life Ministries was born out of the ashes of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi, when more than 1 million people were killed in 100 days. But today, Rwanda has emerged as a shining star of the African continent. The stories of reconciliation and transformation are simply incredible. And Africa New Life Ministries has played a significant part of that story, with over 11,000 children sponsored and thousands of lives changed through Gospel proclamation and works of compassion.
In July, you’ll have the chance to see all of this and more. You will see the beautiful country of Rwanda and the ministry of Africa New Life firsthand. You’ll meet your sponsor student(s)! You'll experience a new culture and learn the history of Rwanda. You’ll even see zebras, giraffes, elephants, and lions on a wildlife safari! What more could you ask for? This trip will be life-transforming, you won't want to miss it!
DATES: July 21-31, 2023. That’s an 11-day trip (including travel) with 8.5 days on the ground in Rwanda.
ESTIMATED COST: $2000 plus airfare = ~$3,800 per person.. This includes ALL on-ground costs, including lodging, meals, transportation, and activities. **Additional expenses are Wildlife Safari ($450) and optional Gorilla Trekking ($1500).
