Series: The Power of the Gospel: Key sermons in Acts

The First Christian Sermon

April 16, 2023 | Peter Kozushko

The Apostle Peter's sermon on the Day of Pentecost, 40 plus days after Jesus' resurrection and ascension, is the first Christian sermon in Church history. It was remarkable because of what it proclaims and what enabled Peter to preach it. The results were pretty amazing too. The small band of believers grew from 120 to 3120!
