Luke tells us in his Gospel that everyone who heard the shepherds speak about Jesus were amazed at what they said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. These are two ways that people respond to the message of Jesus. Mary's response is on the right track to welcoming, worshiping, and bearing witness to Jesus.
