More opportunities to serve...
We have more little projects around the church than we have hours in the day. Sometimes we could use a little help to get things done. If you're handy and have a heart to serve the church, we'd love to partner with you to knock out some items on our to-do list. Check out the projects below and see if anything is up your alley...

Installing an additional external wall outlet

The outlet for our video streaming system is placed precariously behind the operators. My fear is that it is going to get bumped and interrupt the livestream. I'd love to have an additional outlet placed a few feet down the wall where it would not be in the way. I bought all the supplies but I was hoping someone with a little electrical expertise could help me cut the power and add this additional outlet.  I'm guessing that if we work together this would not take more than a couple hours.

Cable routing and clean-up

My motto for projects is "Make it work, and then make it pretty". Unfortunately, I often get called away before I can finish the "make it pretty" part. This means that unsightly cables are often left unsecured and draped across walls. Everything works but it's ugly. We could sure use some help hiding the cables in plastic conduit or zip-tying them and neatening them up. If you have some experience with cable routing, we could really use your help!

Mount a pipe curtain rod and curtain

Right now the video booth is a little too exposed. I'm hoping that a simple curtain will make it less inviting to passersby.  I have the curtain and the pipe fittings but I need some help figuring out the best way to install it. If you're handy with these kinds of projects, I could sure use the help. I'm guessing that it will take a few hours to complete the project.

Modify table bases for our lobby

We bought table bases to make counter height tables for the lobby so we'll have a place to set our coffee while fellowshipping after the service. Unfortunately, they didn't come in the correct height and need to be modified. I would love for someone to advise me on how to best handle this problem. It's going to involve precision cutting, grinding and welding. I suspect taking it to a professional welder might be the best route. But I could still use help coordinating this project. If you have access to a machine shop or know of a good one that could help us out please let me know.
