Jon Knapp
Worship Pastor
Jon and his wife Lynsey have been married since 2002. Together they enjoy traveling, running, hiking and walking, kayaking, music, and most importantly the relationships that have come through over 20 years of serving in pastoral ministry together.
Growing up in Eugene Oregon, Jon knew he wanted to be a pastor at the age of 12 when a middle school pastor from Eugene First Baptist made a huge difference in his life. From there he got his Bachelor of arts in Biblical Studies from Western Baptist (now Corban University), then moved to Portland to get a Master of Divinity from Western Seminary, and graduated in 2000.
Jon served as an associate pastor at Grace Point Community Church in Tigard from 1997-2011. He then moved to Molalla to serve as a worship pastor at Foothills Community Church until 2021.
Jon is passionate about the church experiencing the presence and the power of Jesus in worship, as God's people exalt the name of Jesus above every other name
