Peter began to pursue full-time pastoral ministry in his mid-twenties. He received his ministry training and education from Regent College in Vancouver B.C. which included a year at North Park Theological Seminary. After graduating with a Master of Divinity, he served five years as Lead Pastor of Wiley Heights Covenant Church. In October of 2000, he joined the pastoral staff of Countryside as the Associate Pastor of adult discipleship, evangelism, and welcome/connecting ministries. He recently received a Doctor of Divinity (2018) from Acadia University with a focus on the historical reliability of the Gospels. Peter’s passion is to encourage and help people become life-long disciples of Jesus and equip others to do the same. Peter and his wife Clare have three grown children and three grandchildren.
