Eternity Changes Everything! Christians have a great future, and it's guaranteed. That changes everything for today. Because our eternal reward is so great, it can change our demeanor and help us get through even the toughest times today. The title comes from a good little book with the same title by Stephen Witmer. I hope you'll join us for the whole mini-series from a very biblical perspective from now until Thanksgiving.

Eternity Changes Everything

Revelation 21:1-8 NIV 

  1. OUR ETERNAL HOME WILL BE WONDERFUL AND SAFE: .

Revelation 21:1 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven
and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 

  1. OUR ETERNAL LIFE WILL BE GREAT; LIKE .

Revelation 21:2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 

  1. THE ULTIMATE PRIZE OF HEAVEN: IMMANUEL, .

Revelation 21:3-4 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death
or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

  1. THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH ABOUT HEAVEN: .

   *WHO WILL RECEIVE THIS GIFT?  ALL WHO PUT THEIR .

Revelation 21:6–7 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. 

   *WHO WILL NOT RECEIVE THIS GIFT? ALL WHO .

Rev 21:8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” 

Colossians 3:1–2 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above,
where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
