Jesus is the Answer

Isaiah 31

  1. LOOK TO JESUS  , NOT THE WORLD.

Isaiah 31:1 Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the Lord.

Psalm 127:1 Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.

  1. THE LORD NEVER CHANGES. DON’T  .

Isaiah 31:2 Yet he too is wise and can bring disaster; he does not take back his words. He will rise up against that wicked nation, against those who help evildoers.

Genesis 50:20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.

  1. DON’T COMPROMISE: THE   WILL FAIL.

Isaiah 31:3 But the Egyptians are mere mortals and not God; their horses are flesh and not spirit. When the Lord stretches out his hand, those who help will stumble, those who are helped will fall; all will perish together.

  1. HOW DOES THE STORY END?  .

Revelation 21:3–5 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!”

PRAY FOR NEW THINGS NOW!

A NEW HEART
Psalm 51:10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

A NEW START TODAY AND EACH DAY
Open your day with the Bible and Prayer.  Fix your eyes on Jesus.
Ask the Holy Spirit to transform you.  Examine yourself, discover your blindspots.
Confess your sins and pray for transformation…every day.

A NEW FRIENDSHIP.
Practice heaven… build relationships with new people who reflect the variety of heaven.

NEW CONVERSATIONS, ASK NEW QUESTIONS:
How do you experience/observe discrimination?
How do I display signs of pride/superiority/preference/prejudice?
How can I change?  Help me!
