Series: Take Root - Cultivating Your Place in the Body of Christ
Rooted in Your Story
June 08, 2025 | Lynette Sanchez
Have you ever reflected on how the significant events and people in your life have shaped who you are today and who are becoming? In this week's passage, Jacob comes to the boiling point in his own story as he faces the consequences of his deceit and wrestles God for a blessing and a new name. God has been at work forming and shaping you through joy and struggle. We are invited to be part of the greatest story that took place in Christ's life, death, and resurrection and continues today through the church.

Series Information

In our first thematic goal we sowed the seeds of belonging with the desire to cultivate meaningful connection for each person in our church family. With this next goal, Take Root, we seek to deepen those roots by helping each person to see how they are an active participant at Countryside. We are all invited to take ownership in the mission and thriving of our church. This takes place across generations as we lead and serve, growing in our understanding of how God has made each of us and the part we have as a member of the Body of Christ here at Countryside.
