Series: Take Root - Cultivating Your Place in the Body of Christ
Taking Root - Dissectology and You
May 11, 2025 | Mike Matousek
Taking Root in a church body and owning that community involves deeply caring for the people of it. How do we do that? The Bible says primarily by fulfilling our role, given by God Himself, in the body, and by living out our purpose for the good of others and for the unity of the church. It's as if God is a dissectologist...and in order to understand that statement you have to listen to the sermon!

Series Information

In our first thematic goal we sowed the seeds of belonging with the desire to cultivate meaningful connection for each person in our church family. With this next goal, Take Root, we seek to deepen those roots by helping each person to see how they are an active participant at Countryside. We are all invited to take ownership in the mission and thriving of our church. This takes place across generations as we lead and serve, growing in our understanding of how God has made each of us and the part we have as a member of the Body of Christ here at Countryside.
