Series: Galatians - No Other Gospel
The Angry Apostle
January 05, 2025 | Mike Matousek
The Apostle Paul is angry as he begins this letter. He can't believe that the believers in Galatia have already turned to teaching other than the truth that he had proclaimed to them. In this opening section, he makes sure that they understand what he means by the Gospel and how important it is that they (and us) never stray from this central truth.

Series Information
The believers in Jesus in the region of Galatia (modern day central Turkey) received a stern lecture from their founding pastor in this book. Why? Within a short time they had started to add to the gospel ("good news") message on which they had been founded. How did this happen? How can we guard against this happening to us? What would it look like in our modern context? This letter from the Apostle Paul has profound lessons on faith and practice for both those that don't believe and for those that have already come to faith in Jesus.
