The believers in Jesus in the region of Galatia (modern day central Turkey) received a stern lecture from their founding pastor in this book. Why? Within a short time they had started to add to the gospel ("good news") message on which they had been founded. How did this happen? How can we guard against this happening to us? This letter from the Apostle Paul has profound lessons on faith and practice for both those that don't believe and for those that have already come to faith in Jesus.
