When two of Jesus' disciples asked him to do for them whatever they ask, they revealed that they still hadn't understood who Jesus is, what he came to do, and what it means to follow him. In our continued study of Gospel of Matthew, we see how God’s promises in the Hebrew Scriptures to bring salvation to his people Israel and to the whole world are being fulfilled with the coming of Jesus the Messiah.
